Character Counts

    There is a Florida State- mandated character education program, utilized in every school in the State. It reinforces positive character traits, such as: citizenship,fairness,trustworthiness, responsibility, respectfulness and caring. For many young children, these are abstract ideas and must be demonstrated in a creative, comfortable forum where learning and understanding is fun and memorable.

     Santa Rosa County educators have enlisted the assistance of an American Quarter Horse
named Tuffy to assist them. In the website pages, you will learn what Tuffy is doing to help children learn, persevere, and become better people. You'll also see how he is helping raise funds for area schools.
