These Santa Rosa teens
participated in the Alabama High
School Rodeo Associations finals
this year in Andalusia.

To help schools meet the
requirements of a federal and
state-mandated character education
program, they are using their
experiences in the rodeo to teach
youngsters about perseverance,
character, hope - and a whole lot
more.
Jill Hayes, Tristin Watson, and twins
Cody and Coulter Prescott have
agreed to support the program by
making appearances at the school
and by allowing their photographs
and involvement in the rodeo to be
used as examples to young students.
Along with Tuffy
TM, they are making
a difference this year, demonstrating
by example how students can
accomplish their goals by staying
focused and working hard  - and by
not giving up.

Their involvement  goes hand-in-hand
with the state-mandated Character
Counts program in teaching such
values as: Citizenship, Fairness,
Trustworthiness, Responsibility,
Respectfulness and Caring.

Tuffy’s
TM  books are designed to
reflect those same character traits.
